IS IT SAFE

LPG itself is a very safe fuel as it is stored in a liquid form in which state it is not flammable, only after being processed through the vaporiser does it becomes a gaseous element for combustion in the engine. In addition to this the autogas system used by LPG Autogas is fitted with 7 additional safety features which automatically cut off the supply of gas in the unlikely event that this should ever be required.

CAN THE VEHICLE STILL USE PETROL

A simple flick of a switch is all that is required to change the vehicle from LPG to petrol and back again, this can be done whilst the vehicle is in motion or stationary as required.

WHERE DOES THE VEHICLE FILL UP WITH LPG

As autogas is in its relative infancy in South Africa it is not as convenient to fill up with LPG as it is with petrol, however, LPG Autogas have associations with most of South Africa's largest gas suppliers and will arrange a supply of gas to suit your particular needs. If the user of the autogas product is a fleet owner, if required, the gas company will provide the company with its own bulk supply tank on the company's premises, thereby alleviating such company of any inconvenience as to where they may obtain LPG.
